Magento Affiliate Script Feature Poll

Sometimes back I had developed few scripts for Magento to load Affiliate Datafeed from Shareasale through a profile creation. Although it was successful, due to my other projects Speedfeedr,Qwikfront and Shop-N-Jam for wordpress I could not focus more.
But as always, I do revisit my work to make it much better than earlier.Hence I would like to work again on Magento shareasale plugin to add more feature to that.
At present the below features are available in the plugin,
1. Need to copy the scripts to Magento Core Folders
2. Edit Magento Theme files (this cannot be avoided).
3. Configure a Advanced Profile in Admin
4. Upload file through ftp to server /var/import folder
5. Run the advanced profile by specifying the filename in the profile.
But still I think something can be tweaked to make it more efficient and robust.If anybody who read this can comment their view on the features, I would be happy to work on that.
Recent Downloads on My Blog

It was rather a nice work in my available amount of time sometime bac, that I too happened to show some downloadable content on my blog.
Although I put considerable amount of efforts into that, I don’t think they are of any use to anybody, since I never received a feedback from anybody who downloaded or even looked into that. TO Make it end of life content on my blog, I would like to put them once for last time on this blog so that If anybody is interested then can download them for free.
I plan to move my blog to another host by feb end and hence the content would be available on my blog till then.

A Better Update on shareasale datafeed plugin

1Its been a hectic week and a lot of hiccups in office.I couldn’t get enough time to work on the shareasale datafeed plugin (speedfeedr) further.It was a working day unofficially though and I successfully finished all my work within the time available.And I really wanted to update the plugin since the feedback’s were really pointing to the performance and error handling failures in my plugin.
The amount of time the plugin runs is long and also it fails to load if the number of records are in thousands failing with the message “Timeout exceeded max allowed 30sec”.Whatever, I fixed it now.The better thing is now it loads the data even if the data is in hundreds , thousands or whatever.The only thing is you will not know that its loading the records from the file though.After the amount of time I have set in the plugin, it responds saying File Uploaded, and the plus point is in the backend, it keeps on inserting the records from the file until every record is inserted into wordpress tables.
This has been a major breakthrough in my developing skills, that too with Zero PHP knowledge I’m still coding wordpress plugin. As a matter of fact I’ve stopped working on the ShopNJam project yet since I subscribed to datafeedr , but still I think I will make it live sometime later once I plan to integrate them into mainstream.
Also it had been a long time since I thought of changing my theme, and I think its the right time to give myself a birthday present on 23rd Dec to work on a new wordpress theme from a free PSD I got from a friendly blogger.
My Intuition As A Software Programmer

Every time I accomplish something I start feeling that its not enough and I have missed something or else whatever I’ve done is not as good compared to the best on net. I don’t know whether It’s a good sign or bad, but always I try to do something to satisfy which I have never been with my work. Also added to that I do not have talent give a time-slip answer, I tend to directly give the digital answer 1 or 0.This follows even in my office work too, and most of my answers turn futile to me because of this.
Again I turned down my earlier Shareasale datafeed script form Magento just due to the fact that it took hell lot of time in magento and added to that the datafeed had some fields missing which I could have taken care of.
Focusing on my failures earlier financially I had thought that I would make these plug-in commercial, but my intuition says as a Software Programmer, its my duty to share my knowledge to the world whatever state I’m in.
